The Fruit Tree Harvest
Our neighborhoods have an abundance of residential fruit trees. Do you have a plum tree which has grown too large for easy picking? Too busy to pick your apple tree? Don't know what to do with all that fruit? Tired of cleaning up spoiled fruit from your yard? We can connect you with volunteers to harvest your tree and distribute the fruit to food banks and other local groups. You can help pick if you'd like. Regardless, we would be happy to leave you with a bag of fruit. Help us meet our goal of 6500 pounds of fruit for 2009.  If you have a tree with fruit to donate, please fill out this online form or contact Aviva.
