The West Seattle Harvest Share Fair

It's June and the spring has been chilly. With the squash seedlings just barely poking through the damp soil, and the tomatoes bracing themselves against chilly nights, it's hard to remember the abundance of last September. Nonetheless, it is very likely that in a few months time, our gardens will be overflowing with food again.

Let's share with our neighbors in a Harvest Share Fair. Bring your surplus garden produce, fruits or vegetables, and share with other gardeners as well as non-gardeners. Let's have some old fashioned contests for the wierdest tomato and the heaviest zucchini. Maybe an apple tasting or cider pressing..
